Released in 1971, the Pentax SP 500 is a 35mm SLR camera that is equipped with match-needle exposure metering. There's a little needle on the right side of the viewfinder that goes from high (too much light, stop down) to low (too little light, open up).

Note that it doesn't have a timer and doesn't have a shoe for adding a flash.

You are going to be happy with its quality and how it feels in your hands.

The Super-Takumars fixed 55mm lens that comes with it is an all-time classic and one of the best vintage lenses commonly available today. Solid build and great image quality.

Condition: Like New (Mint). Tiny scuffs on the back. No haze, no fungus, no scratches. A few small dust particles in the viewfinder with no impact on shooting. This is based on our own assessment. Please check the camera pictures carefully and reach out if you have questions or concerns.
